nostalgia
i stumbled across my box full of old journals the other day and i can't stop reading them. apparently i find myself rather riveting. go figure. it's kind of fun to see how well i've improved on expressing myself over the years. some of the entries from middle school, high school, and even freshman year of college are pretty hard to read. i was just so horrible at putting my thoughts and feelings into words without them sounding utterly annoying and repetitively ridiculous.
mostly i just want to go back in time to hold my face in my hands, look myself square in the eyes and calmly say, "relax. seriously, it will all be okay".
all that to say, i've been getting no sleep due to the fact that they are really very hard to put down. funny how that works, since i know what's going to happen. anywho, i'm off to continue my adventures as a junior in high school.
